When the color theme for a 1955 Chevrolet 210 includes this much burning hot style, then you better have the serious muscle to back it up. That's why this one has a performance-built big block that even has a nitrous setup if you really need to leave them all in your vapor trail. And as you look over the full package, you'll see the right upgrades for a big power machine that also loves to remind you that it's one of the most iconic classics around.

The first thing grabbing your attention are all the yellow-hot flames consuming the front end. They fade to a burning red that looks quite stylish against the deeper red rear portion of the car. The clean lines and good panels make for a great way to showcase this custom presentation. It's quite a cool/custom setup, and as you get closer, you can see there is a tone more in custom work. There's a full pinstriping package that outlines the flames, adds emphasis to the iconic side trim, and even gives you custom graphics, like the “Double Nickle” nickname for this '55 Chevy on the rear fender. There are also cat-eye headlight covers, big bright exhaust tips, Chevy bowties in the taillights, and classic Cragar-style wheels with extra meaty ... Please ask for the full description.

Description

402 V8 WITH GO-FAST GOODIES & NOS, 3-SPEED AUTO W/ 3K STALL, 4-WHEEL POWER DISCS

There's a full pinstriping package that outlines the flames, adds emphasis to the iconic side trim, and even gives you custom graphics, like the "Double Nickle" nickname for this '55 Chevy on the rear fender. There are also cat-eye headlight covers, big bright exhaust tips, Chevy bowties in the taillights, and classic Cragar-style wheels with extra meaty rear rubber. You've got the best classic brightwork pieces shining brightly, like the grille, bumpers, and jet-age hood ornament. But on a car like this, it's likely all the go-fast component stickers on the rear window that attracts the most attention.

The interior offers added comfort and plenty of performance attitude. The maroon on the carpet, seat piping, doors, and dash goes well with the red tones of the exterior. And the gray intertwined on the upholstery, door panels, and headliner make for a tasteful total style. There are even nice classic details, like the working dome light, working clock, and plenty of bright trim on the double-hump dash. And here's an upgraded AM/FM stereo with CD changer for good driving music. But as inviting as this Chevy is for everyone, you can tell the real focus is on the driver. The steering wheel has the classic design, but it's now a smaller diameter sports unit that also has power steering. There's also an auxiliary gauge trio under the dash, a B&M floor shifter, and an AutoMeter Sport-Comp 2 tach with an important shift light.

The smooth black inner fenders of the engine bay funnel your attention to the big motor in the middle. And while the '55 Chevy launched the small block era, this one gives you a major upgrade to big block power. In fact, the 402 cubic-inch V8 was borrowed from the muscle car era. And you can tell the full story while showing off this motor's awesome shine. Plus, the consignor claims this is a fortified build with Keith black pistons, a Comp-Cams racing camshaft, and stainless steel valves. It also inhales deeply with a Holley four-barrel carburetor and Edelbrock Air-Gap intake. There are also nice supporting components, like an MSD ignition, an aluminum radiator, and the battery mounted in the trunk for better weight distribution. And when you look in the trunk, you'll also spot the nitrous tank that delivers a 200-shot to make sure this big block is always the king of the street or strip. And while the headers feed into a sweet-sounding Flowmaster dual exhaust, there are also cutouts for those times when you really want to announce your power. When you have big power, you want the best in control. So the TH350 three-speed has a manual valve body and a 3,000 RPM stall. This feeds into a rear end with Richmond 4.11 gears for powerful take-offs. And you also have superior stopping power with a CPP power four-wheel disc brakes system and drilled & slotted rotors.

This is the '55 Chevy with a burning hot look and tire-burning kind of muscle. It makes for an awesomely powerful icon that you know you need to take home. Call today!!!
