The interior has received a good investment to maintain its vintage appeal. It starts with the seats. The green with coated fabric black inserts is correct, right down to the button-top trim. But everything feels fresher than 1957. Matching door panels, fresh carpeting, and a taut headliner are all part of the thoughtful investment. Even details like the steering wheel, bright dash, and working dome lights are all part of this vintage presentation. But this one also wants to be a great driver for modern times. It's nice to see this VC-code hardtop with a correct V8 under the hood. It goes for a touch of vintage with the orange block and matching Chevrolet script valve covers. The consignor believes it is the original 283 v8 that came with the car, but we are unable to verify that with 100% certainty.
