This is one for the haulers, attention getters, and anyone who loves unique vintage trucks. After all, how often do you ever see a 1953 Chevrolet 3800 Stake Bed Dually? But with the iconic design and all that lumber, this truck has been restored to bring nostalgia to the commercial-grade field.
While a 3800-series flatbed should look worn out from nearly 70 years of getting to work, there's less than 150 miles on this one since its restoration. So this one almost looks like its first month on the job. The black paint has a great glossy style that highlights the curves of the front fenders, and at the same time, it has the right industrial look to be on the grille, bumper, and running boards. And black is also used for the HD 8-lug wheels with dual rear wheels. Plus, the Champagne gold has a nice metallic pop in the sunshine. It all has a fresh look with just the right hints of responsible use so that no one will accuse you of just having a pure showpiece. Think about what that would look like sitting out in front of your business. It makes for an instant symbol of credibility and care. And of course, there's the bed. The stake sides make a complete pen, and as you peek inside, you'll ... Please ask for the full description.

It all has a fresh look with just the right hints of responsible use so that no one will accuse you of just having a pure showpiece. Think about what that would look like sitting out in front of your business. It makes for an instant symbol of credibility and care. And of course, there's the bed. The stake sides make a complete pen, and as you peek inside, you'll see even more detailed lumber. It makes for a great showcase on its own, but we bet you're also thinking about how it would be great to haul other vintage items. After all, just imagine how a classic pedal car, motorcycle, or other collectibles would look back there.
Inside is pure vintage truck simplicity. It has a nice uniform look with the exterior two-tone paint intertwining on the doors and dash. You have a nicely recovered bench seat, durable rubber floor, and clear glass in the two-piece windshield. And the large steering wheel and tall shifter give you that unbeatable old-school pickup vibe.
The 216 cubic-inch inline-six is part of a legacy of industrial-strength, and so it's great to see it so correctly present under the hood. The hoses, wires, and even the inner walls look fresh and dark so that the long blue cover takes center stage in the engine bay. It's the kind of investment that also means the truck runs like it was still needing to be a reliable daily worker. Another key to the truck's usefulness is the four-speed manual transmission. The "granny" low first gear means utilizing plenty of torque from the start, so this stake bed truck can get going even when under a load.
This Chevy is a great classic truck that can be driven to work or shows with plenty of pride. So if you're ready for industrial-sized cool, call today!
