Premium, vintage, upgraded, and powerful... this 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 tribute makes all the right first impressions. So with its sleek appearance, comfy A/C interior, four-wheel disc brakes, upgraded five-speed, and fresh performance crate motor, this coupe has you in love/lust at first sight.
Speedy silver cars often get nicknames like The Silver Bullet. But this is also the kind of quality application that gives it some sophistication to go with the swift style. It's not so fancy that you'd be nervous driving it - after all, the point of tribute is to get a classic you can fully enjoy. But you can tell this is the kind of car you'll cruise and show in equal measures. The shine also helps to highlight the good panel fit and straight sheet metal throughout. This level of quality is essential on the '69 Camaros because of the iconic front fender line that races into the door almost seamlessly. And because this one wants the full performance look of a Z/28, it gets all the right aggressive pieces. The black stripes are expertly painted onto the silver, and they highlight other classic sporty features like the cowl induction hood and full-width rear spoiler. Plus, this upgrades ...
Plus, this upgrades its intimidation factor with an aggressive set of 18-inch Intro alloys with a meatier rear tire set for an aggressive stance.
The interior is thoughtfully done. The exterior silver return on the lower dash, and the door panels, carpeting, dash pad, and headliner all look awesome in a clean black. Of course, the real attention getters are the houndstooth cloth inserts in the seats. It's an iconic feature that looks clean and complete, right down to the button-top seatbacks. But more than just a good classic appearance, this one is a true driver's machine. That's why you get a grippy sports steering wheel on a tilt column, a TKO shifter, and a full set of gauges, including the auxiliary readouts on the center console. A Camaro like this is great for rolling down all the windows, cranking up the upgraded stereo, and driving all around town. There's modern R134a air conditioning in case the outside breezes aren't enough to keep you feeling as cool as you look behind the wheel.
The engine bay really starts to show off why a good tribute is always a better driver. The factory Z/28s had a well-done 302 cubic-inch powerplant. These were nice, but they had nothing on the decades of progress and larger displacement of this 350ci High Output motor. In fact, this is a fresh crate V8 installed only about 300 miles ago. This is built with the right go-fast goodies like an Edelbrock AVS 2 four-barrel carburetor, an Edelbrock intake, high-flow heads, and long tube headers feeding into the dual exhaust. There are also good supporting components, like an aluminum radiator, billet pulleys, and a full MSD ignition system. You have complete control over this powerful motor and its thunderous soundtrack thanks to an upgraded five-speed manual transmission. Control is a central theme thanks to upgrades like the power steering, sway bars front & rear, modern performance, and four-wheel power disc brakes with slotted & drilled rotors.
This is the classic with a standout style and the kind of strong driver's attitude that wants to hit the road. So if you want to get out there and turn heads, don't miss this Z/28 tribute. Call today!!!
