1967 was a great year for the Chevelle, and when you find a clean hardtop like this, it probably makes sense to build a super nice car around it. Cool turquoise metallic paint doesn't hurt, either, because you want it to get noticed, and with a thumping 350 cubic inch crate V8 under the hood you can afford to have a little swagger on the street.

The later Chevelles get a lot of attention, but in '67, the car was elegant, smooth, and restrained, and even in bright colors it doesn't seem to be trying too hard. With a stock hood with those cool inserts to set it apart from all the cars wearing fake cowl-induction units, this very attractive Chevelle was nicely finished but still knows how to have fun on the street. The bodywork is well done and the Turquoise Metallic paint, while shiny and in very good driver-quality shape, isn't a perfect trailer queen, but still has plenty of curb appeal. No stripes or other add-ons, not even any fake 'SS' badges or a blacked-out grille, just pure, honest Chevelle goodness that isn't pretending to be anything that it isn't.
