This 1956 Chevrolet Bel Air is the two-tone icon with all the right cruiser-ready upgrades. It takes the chrome-king classic look you love and adds an upgraded fuel-injected V8, overdrive transmission, an upgraded suspension, and an attractive driver-focused interior.
Bright red and white two-tone paint is always the right choice for a classic tri-five Chevy. It's a later upgrade that retains a good gloss in the sunshine. So while there are some signs of enjoyment - because this is a car you're going to want to drive - but overall it has an impressive style. After all, only the 1956 Bel Air had the unique streak of trim running down the side that allows the white to pierce the red all the way to the headlight. This has more of the classic style you love, like the bright chrome bumpers, wraparound glass, and gas cap hidden behind the tail light. But there are also subtle ways to tell this one is an upgraded cruiser. There's a smother and sportier style with deleted badging, crystal clear headlights, a billet grille, and large dual exhaust tips. And while the wheels look like classic rally units, they are really modern 17-inch alloys that let you fit better modern tires.

The interior continues the red and white two-tone color theme, and this has been done thoughtfully. For example, you have two rows of bench seats finished in white vinyl with classic tuck and roll patterns, and red is used as an accent on the piping and seatbelts. The door panels are done to coordinate, and the dash pad, carpeting, and headliner are finished in an attractive red. This one is a detailed package, right down to the working dome light, smooth dash brightwork, and upgraded power windows. Plus, there are some worthwhile upgrades that make this a great driver. This includes a sports steering wheel on a tilt column, a Lokar shifter in the center console, and an upgraded Dakota Digital gauge cluster that glows red to coordinate with the rest of the style.
While the Tri-Fives launched the small block V8 era, the 350 cubic-inch V8 under the hood here is larger than anything the factory was offering in '56. More than just an upgraded displacement, this also has nice driver features like a ProComp high-rise intake and an aluminum radiator with dual electric fans. Plus, it's topped with a FiTech electronic fuel injection system which gives you better power and consistency than even the Fuelie cars that came the next year. It makes for a proper driver's classic, and this one even loves to hit the highway with its 700R4 four-speed automatic transmission with overdrive. There's also power steering, power brakes, front discs, and a strong tubular A-arm front suspension.
This Bel Air really knows how to be both a great icon and a cool custom cruiser. So don't let it slip away. Call today!!!
