VERY CLEAN, 1500CC, 3 SPEED MANUAL, RUNS AND DRIVES EXCELLENT, READY TO GO!

With its classic pastel presentation, international history, and overall vintage style, this 1957 Nash Metropolitan is a nicely presented classic that's memorable wherever it goes.

The Cream paint is that ideal 1950s pastel color, and so it sets the tone right for this coupe. Full-length trim, color-matched wheels, and a hint of tailfin all give this little Met the same level of nostalgia as Nash's bigger cars. But the Metropolitan also has a true cosmopolitan history. American Motors had them built in England by BMC. These small car specialists were able to create a far more substantial package - right down to the continental kit - than American companies could do for compacts at the time. And so the result was a cool import with American flair and a domestic name.

The interior has been given some subtle upgrades to keep it classic with just the right amount of driver appeal added on top. For starters, the seat is now finished in a comfy velour. It's an upgrade later in life, but it looks right at home thanks to the door panels that were upgraded to match. There are other nice conveniences, like cup holders and tinted windows. And there's an AM/FM radio hidden in the glovebox with ... Please ask for the full description.

And there's an AM/FM radio hidden in the glovebox with a USB input to charge your phone. The split bench seat offers a surprising amount of room for two in this small classic, and the carpeted rear parcel area is great for indoor storage. You'll slip behind the classic dual-spoke steering wheel, and just ahead of that is the classic large Smiths readout. There's also a Stewart-Warner temperature gauge added to the dash to give you an essential knowledge in a driver's classic.

The 1.5-liter motor came from Austin in England, so you know there's some fun in this car. This is the correct motor for the Met, and since the B-Series was quite popular in England, parts availability is good and inexpensive. It's not built for all out speed, but these are the people who really know about how to get the most out of a small powerplant. That's especially true with the control you get from the three-speed manual transmission. So you get the classic American feeling of column-shifted action. But now it comes with unmistakably sensation of a nippy and nimble European on the road. No wonder these Metropolitans have a devoted following.

This is a distinctive classic with a bright personality and the right upgrades. Don't miss out, call today!!!
