The whole package of this 1956 Chevrolet Bel Air looks vintage but with a modern twist. You see it in the factory-correct two-tone that has an updated glow, and the stylish interior now features cold-blowing A/C. The two-tone Dusk Plum and India Ivory represent the 1950s perfectly, and the trim tag tells us it's the factory-correct color combo. A two-tone arguably looks the best on the '56 Bel Air because it was the only time that harpoon there was of color running the full profile. But this one showcases the decades of progress that proved how upgradeable these motors are. We're told it's now a 383 cubic-inch stroker motor. And we can see it has been enhanced with Edelbrock E-Street aluminum heads, a performance intake, and topped with an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor. There are even nice supporting components like an MSD Ignition and an electric cooling fan. The upgraded V8 exhales with added power and rumble through long tube headers on their way to the dual exhaust. The full package is said to make an impressive 400 hp/425 ft-lb of torque, and it certainly feels that strong. The three-speed automatic transmission feeds into a 3.31 Positraction rear end for an ideal mix of comfort and confidence. And this Bel Air likes you to feel the road securely with new ZR-Rated tires and CPP four-wheel power disc brakes with drilled & slotted rotors.
