This 1946 Chevrolet pickup has the chopped cab and matte black look of a mean machine. But there's so much more going on here. It's a custom build with an upgraded interior, overdrive transmission, V8 power, car-like suspension, and four-wheel disc brakes to make this a cool all-around cruiser.
Matte black is always one of the most sinister ways to represent out on the streets. It covers the pickup in a certain type of attitude usually reserved for hot rods. In fact, this one has the right street machine details including a cab which has been chopped for a sleeker profile. The American Racing wheels have a 17/18-inch front/rear stagger for a solid power stance. But the custom feel of this truck also just goes to make it a better classic. There's plenty of traditional real oak wood used for the running boards, truck bed, and custom toolbox. And the 1946 Chevys were a rare breed with a pre-war design brought back for truck-hungry post-war America. So it's important to have its unique grille leading the way.

And the 1946 Chevys were a rare breed with a pre-war design brought back for truck-hungry post-war America. So it's important to have its unique grille leading the way.
The interior has the right mix of vintage and new. You get the classic feeling from all the simple smooth door panels and dash. But what you'll really appreciate is how this has been upgraded to make sure you have a comfortable classic. The bench seat is from a vehicle that came decades later, and so you get comfy cloth upholstery and good bolstering. There's an AM/FM/CD stereo with USB and Bluetooth in the headliner, and you have a Rockford Fosgate amplifier and speakers behind the seat to give you better driving music. In fact, you can tell this one was built to be enjoyed in modern times with a padded steering wheel, tilt column, and crisp AutoMeter gauges.
The engine bay has the unmistakable look of a very cool upgrade. After all, we instantly see the classic inline six has been traded for small block V8 power. This is a 307 cubic-inch V8, and we're told there's only about 7,200 miles on it since its rebuild. It was built with a nice Edelbrock trio that includes the four-barrel carburetor, intake, and polished valve covers. It's built to be a driver, and so you'll appreciate nice upgrades like a thermostatically controlled electric fan and a 700R4 four-speed automatic transmission with overdrive. As you look underneath, there's an upgraded suspension with an independent front end that includes Global West tubular upper control arms. And the rear is a triangulated four-link with sway bar. So the right pieces are there if you wanted to make lowrider-style upgrades, but quite frankly, it just makes for a better cruiser now. That's why you also have easy driving features like power steering, modern Michelin tires, and four-wheel power disc brakes.
The sale comes complete with valuable new components, including headlights, seatbelts, and a fitted truck cover. This is a cool custom pickup that has a mean matte black look as well as all the right cruiser upgrades. A total package like this never stays around long, and that's why you know you need to hurry to grab this deal. Call today!!!
