Here's a 1968 Plymouth GTX tribute that was built to have everything you want. This includes a great color combo, the best GTX details, and a restored and upgraded interior. The GTX had plenty of muscle car bravado, but as a range-topping Plymouth, it also liked to have a touch of premium flair. So it's nice to leave all the windows down on this hardtop just so it's easy for others to get a good look at this classic and quality presentation. But this one also has the right well-placed upgrades. The wood-rimmed sports steering wheel and column-mounted tach remind you this is a driver's car. There are even provisions for air conditioning (it will need servicing) and an AM/FM/CD stereo with Bluetooth to make this a comfortable cruiser.

Power comes from the largest engine in Chrysler's stable, the 440 cubic-inch big block. This V8 was part of what made the GTX the premium offering, and so it's terrific to have it in this well-done tribute. The clean inner walls, polished accessories, and overall tidy style make this look awesome. But what you'll really love is the substance within it all. It has performance upgrades like an Edelbrock AVS2 four-barrel carburetor, an Edelbrock Performer RPM intake, and Hooker long tube headers feeding the dual exhaust and Flowmaster mufflers. There are also nice supporting components, like a serpentine belt system, upgraded pulleys, a custom bracket, an MSD coil, and a Champion aluminum radiator with dual electric fans. It makes for a strong powerhouse with a terrific growl. And it's great to drive with a stout Torqueflite 727 three-speed automatic transmission, Borgeson power steering box, newer rear shock, and a newer power brake system with front discs.
