This 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle has been given a serious Pro Street makeover. After all, the bold paint draws added attention to the extra beefy lines that scream there's impressive big block power under the hood. And while you have everything from a proper race cage to a tubbed rear end, the mileage on this lets you know that it really is good for more than just enjoying a quarter-mile at a time.
The purple paint is obviously something the factory could not have offered. We are told this build was completed in 2012, and it retains quite a nice gloss and luster that pops in the sunshine. It gets the car plenty of attention, but then again, people are certainly going to be talking about it anyway. This was the era of the cowl hood, but GM never released a power dome that large. It is even made of fiberglass and the inner fenders are hollowed for less weight up front. You'll see more of the style and substance combo in the rear with the custom trunk that flows right into the huge rear wing. There's less chrome on this Chevelle where even the bumpers are color-matched for a sleeker style. So it draws your eye to the polish of the Weld racing wheels, and so you really see the racing stance ... Please ask for the full description.

Description
So it draws your eye to the polish of the Weld racing wheels, and so you really see the racing stance with skinny tires in front and massive Mickey Thompson rubber in the rear. The 5,305 odometer is the since-built mileage, and that gives this car the right sweet spot. It means the finish still looks great because you don't exactly use this as a daily driver over the last decade. But it takes more than just getting on and off a trailer to clock up that much. So this Pro Street was truly made for driving, and as you look at the full package, you'll see some nice features that support this feeling.
The interior was given all the right investment for a car that's ready to be a blacktop king. It has a performance-focused style that eliminated the rear seat to make way for the tubbed rear end. And there's a six-point roll cage that's painted purple to match the exterior. You get a competition-capable setup with racing front seats with ACI five-point harnesses, Hurst shifter, grippy sports steering wheel, and AutoMeter gauges - including a large tach at eye-level. But we also like the level of comfort they kept in this build. Full carpeting, nice door panels, and a smooth dash make this feel like far more than a race car. You even have a Bluetooth stereo and powered subwoofers for your choice in modern music. Of course, nothing beats the roar of what's under the hood.
Under the hood is a true beast. Everything has a very clean look that reminds you this is a low-mileage build. Of course, you're going to love this for far more than its tidiness. It is a big 512 cubic-inch V8 that has added performance with GM Performance aluminum heads, a bow tie aluminum intake, and topped with a Holley four-barrel carburetor. There are the right supporting components, too, like the aluminum radiator, electric fans, MSD ignition, and both the Harwood fuel cell and batteries in the trunk for better weight distribution. The Hooker long tube headers add even more power while also contributing to the rumble of the dual exhaust. Making sure that all this power gets to the ground properly is a stout TH400 three-speed automatic transmission feeding a narrowed Ford 9-inch rear. There are disc brakes up front for better stopping, and a strong ladder bar rear with coilover shocks to keep that wide rubber firmly planted to the pavement.
This is a seriously sharp-looking pro street muscle car that's fortified for some serious all-around fun. Call today!!!
