FRESHLY RESTORED MG MIDGET, SMOOTH 1275 CC MOTOR, 4-SPEED MANUAL, SOFT TOP!!!

This 1965 MG Midget has that instant appeal of a beautifully-styled nimble driver's machine. And when you see the investment in this classic drop-top you'll realize the attraction here is for far more than its value price.

The 1960s midges had a nice sense of style with clean lines that were good enough to be shared with Austin Healey. White paint is a timeless color that makes for a good timeless classic. It's a clean and complete finish that looks right for a classic that you also won't hesitate to drive. There's a quality look to this car with bright chrome bumpers, headlight stone shields, classic badges in the grille, and an excellent-looking convertible top in a tasteful black. And the full-length trim does a great job of highlighting how straight the body panels are. Plus, a European sports car just looks excellent when sitting on wire wheels with true knock-off center hubs.

This is a MkII Midget. It was only available for a few years, but it and that hits a nice sweet-spot in the car's evolution. The exterior continued to have a classic style, but the interior was improved for practical drivers. This includes roll-up windows and a better gauge layout. The story we're ...

The story we're told on this one is that it was sitting in a garage for about a decade, and then the consignor resurrected it correctly. So while the carpeting and panels have the clean look of an older restoration, you also have investments in good fundamentals, like a working heater and the seats fully adjusting. There are classic pieces like the well-paced gearshift and Smits gauges, and that's joined by a new sports steering wheel.

One area that didn't change from the MkI to this MkII was the motor. And since displacement makes plenty of different on these lightweight machines, it's nice to see this one upgraded to the MkIII's larger 1275cc engine with dual SU carburetors. When this car was resurrected from its slumber, it was given a full mechanical overhaul. This includes a rebuild of the motor and four-speed manual transmission. There's also new wiring, a new stainless steel exhaust, new tires, and new brakes with front discs. And this has a full receipt file showing the thousands $$$$ invested just in the last few years. That means a clean look to the motor, and a strong-running nature that makes this nimble Midget quite fun to drive.

This is the drop-top that's distinct and vintage that also has the right investment to continue to provide pure driver enjoyment. So at a price like this, you know you need to hurry on this deal. Call today!!!
