Patina on the outside and a fuel-injected modern V8 under the hood - oh yeah, this 1970 GMC C10 Restomod really does strike the best balance for exactly what you want in a cool and powerful classic pickup.
This is a patina'd body, which is always going to get you attention on the streets and start conversations wherever you go. The nicely weathered look on the green was engineered and then cleared over to seal in the style. The body and chrome also follow suit just to make sure this one has the cool style that looks like it was forgotten about in the desert for generations. But this also likes to give a few hints at how secretly rewarding it really is. You have extra glossy wood in the truck bed, and there's a filler cap in the center to tell you the fuel tank is no longer in the cab. And while the wheels look like classic rally units, they are really modern 17-inch alloys that let you fit better modern tires.
The interior doesn't try to hide its upgraded nature. The diamond-stitch seat is a terrific upgrade where it gives a hint of the classic bench look, but now you have individual contouring, plenty of cushioning, and even integrated cup holders.
The door panels were also done to match. And the chrome and black sports steering wheel make the driver's seat feel like a command position. More than just flair, there are also nice fundamentals with clean glass, full carpeting, and a smooth dash pad. But because a patina pickup is about classic style, they also let the right touches of vintage. For example, while it would be easy to upgrade the stereo, we appreciate classic details like the stock Delco unit still on display.
Under the hood is the real treat, because within the smooth fender walls lies a fuel-injected LS-based V8. The 5.3-liter Voterc motor is the kind of mix of power and usability you'd even want even in a brand-new pickup. Plus, the 4L60E four-speed automatic transmission is the ideal balance for both stout performance and overdrive cruising. The 12-bolt rear end is even set up for highway gears to make this a true cruiser. And power steering, power brakes, and front discs create a solid all-around driver.
This is a nice mix of classic patina and modern power. So at a price like this, you know it's a deal that will be moving fast. Call today!!!
